Title: Voyage through the Solar System

Taught: Alternating Spring/Summer

Hours: 4:3-3 (A 4 credit hour course with 3 hours of class and 3 hours of laboratory each week.)

Prerequisiste: Eligibility to take MATH 111 or MATH 121

Description: A survey of our Solar System, including formation models, orbital properties, and motions of its members; planetary features; asteroids, comets and meteors; comparisons of terrestial to jovian planets; and planetary atmospheres. The laboratory section for the class will include work at night at the FMU Observatory.
