Observatory Parking

For our Observatory please use the following directions. If you are coming to see a show in Dooley Planetarium, please use the parking directions in that section and not these.

Coming from Florence, SC:

You will be parking in Lot D which is located along Francis Marion Road/Hwy 327.

Turn right at the stop light on E Palmetto St.

You will see the Student Baptist Center on the right side of the road and the campus on the left. Go to the next entrance after the Student Baptist Center. Turn left to enter the campus.

You will want to park in Lot D as shown in the map below (use satellite view). There will be glow sticks that will light the pathway out to the Observatory. We still suggest that visitors bring a flashlight with them as it will be dark in some places.
