Public Shows
Public Shows return on July 9, 2023. The 2023 calendar below is tentative as we are waiting on final approval for monies to update the computer system and projectors.
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the show start time. Late entry into the planetarium is not allowed. When the doors are opened, it floods the entire room with light and ruins the experience for the entire audience. Programs generally run 45 minutes and include a live portion that covers what is visible in the current sky.
Dooley Planetarium does not charge for its programs. Seating for these shows is on a first come, first seated basis.
